The handwash that left hands cracked
One of our hotel clients had switched to a budget handwash supplier for their guest bathrooms. Within weeks, the staff started complaining their hands were dry, itchy by the end of their shifts. Guests noticed too. Turns out the formula was loaded with harsh surfactants and no moisturisers. We reformulated their range with skin safe, pH balanced ingredients and the complaints stopped.
The sink that turned black
A distributor sold a kitchen cleaner to a chain of cafes. Within days, the steel sinks began to show black patches. The cleaner had a high concentration of unbuffered acids and wasn’t stainless-steel safe — something the supplier never disclosed. They lost the client, and nearly lost their business.
